Removing the Body:
The body is held on with only one screw located at the rear of the body as shown in the picture below.

When this is removed the body simply lifts away from the chassis

The analogue plug needs to be removed (circled in the picture above), this simply pulls veltically out.

In the picture above the arrow points to the number 1 pin (the one the orange wire goes to). Here we have chosen to stick the the decoder using the double sided tape provided to the inside of the body. This fits in with no problem as there is a lot of room inside the loco.

All that remains now it to plug the plug into the socket with a firm push to ensure it is correctly located.
Tip: always test your newly chipped loco on the programming track to ensure that if you have fitted the decoder wrong no harm will come of it.

If you have found that your loco is going backwards when it should be going forwards then you have the socket plugged in the wrong way round.

All that remains now is to reasemble the loco and your done.
